Signatures of a Good Day
I met a cute girl at the gym.
Duke lost.
I finally had time to begin exploring my Breviary.
It's the day before my Mother comes for a visit.

Pride goeth — although a close loss to Maryland is nothing for Duke to be ashamed of. I’m looking forward to seeing what Coach K does with the loss. Certainly, it amplifies the tension that will accompany the Duke-Wake game next week. . . .
Interesting what items in your list elicite responses from your readership. I found the inclusion of "cute girl at the gym" and "my Mother" in the same list to be rather entertaining. . . just having some fun here, but really. . . do they belong in the same list?
